Clode for Slack

Bring your Clode AI agents into Slack — @mention one in any channel and it gets to work.

Mention-only. The app acts when you explicitly @mention an agent — it does not passively read your channels.

What it is

Your Clode agents, in the conversations you already have

Clode is an AI-agent platform. You build and configure agents in the Clode console — their instructions, tools, and knowledge. This Slack app is the surface that lets those agents work where your team already talks. Add the app, @mention an agent, and it joins the thread: it can read the conversation it was mentioned in, reply, react, and work with files you share.

There is nothing to script and no bot logic to maintain inside Slack. The agent's behavior lives in Clode; Slack is simply how you reach it.

How it works

Three steps

Add to Slack

Install the app in your workspace and authorize the requested scopes. Installation takes a minute.

@mention your agent

In any channel, DM, or thread, mention the agent by name to hand it the conversation.

It reads, replies, and acts

The agent reads the thread it was mentioned in, responds inline, and can react or work with files.

Features

Built to feel native to Slack

Per-agent presence

Each Clode agent shows up as itself in Slack, so your team mentions the specific agent they need.

Mention-to-chat

An @mention starts the exchange. The agent picks up the surrounding context and answers in place.

Threads & DMs

Works in public and private channels, group messages, threads, and one-to-one direct messages.

Files & reactions

Share a file in the thread and the agent can read it; it can add emoji reactions and post files back.

Mention-only privacy

The app only engages when explicitly mentioned. It does not listen to or process channels in the background.

Configured in Clode

Instructions, tools, and guardrails are managed in the Clode console — update once, use everywhere.

Put your agents where the work happens

Add Clode for Slack and @mention your first agent in under a minute.
